Monika Gruber hätte wahrscheinlich selbst nicht geahnt, dass es sich später finanziell zu bezahlt machen würde, dass sie auf einem bayrischen Bauernhof aufwuchs. Denn ihr Dialekt hat ihr die Türen zu den Herzen des Publikums geöffnet. Gruber eroberte während ihrer Schauspielausbildung bereits kleinere Theaterbühnen, kam schließlich zum Fernsehen und ergatterte 2012 schließlich den Moderatorenjob bei “Leute, Leute!” im ZDF.
Obwohl der Sender sie gerne behalten hätte, wollte Gruber dann doch wieder lieber live auftreten, und verlängerte ihren Vertrag nicht. Was ihr aus dieser Zeit aber geblieben ist: Der Kontostand! Gruber soll etwa 650.000 Euro besitzen, zählt damit definitiv zu den wohlhabenden, weiblichen Comedians.
