Schnell gelang dem ehrgeizigen Kickboxer eine Karriere im Bereich Actionfilm und avancierte zum absoluten Superstar.
Sein Sohn Kris Van Damme scheint die Skills seines Vater geerbt zu haben, denn auch er ist extrem sportlich und wird als Schauspieler für actionreiche Produktionen gebucht. Die Beiden werden sicher so einige Martial Arts Trainingseinheit zusammen absolviert haben.
